Nipomo Dog & Cat Hospital

Micci - Office Manager

Micci began working in the veterinary field right after graduating from high school. She worked previously with Drs. Wagner and Shroyer for almost 5 years. She decided to take some time off to be with her children, but couldn’t resist joining us when invited! Micci is an energetic, motivated, wonderful person.  She’s great to work with!

Ashley  - Veterinary Assistant

Ashley is the newest addition to the hospital. Last Fall she began as a

volunteer. Now we have her on a regular basis!  She is completing  her

General Ed. at Allan Hancock College and plans to transfer to Cal Poly and

major in Chemistry. Her hobbies are going to the beach, traveling and

spending time with “Fudge” her cat.

Libby - Reception Staff

We are lucky to have Libby on our team. She brings to us a great deal of experience as a Zoo Keeper and Wildlife Rehabilitator. She is a graduate of Cal Poly in Animal Science and we are happy to have her energetic personality in our hospital.  She has a great sense of humor and desire to learn!

Christine - Registered Veterinary Technician

Christine is a Registered Veterinary Technician with 18 years of experience at various local practices. She is also a Registered Medical Assistant. In her spare time she trains puppies at the Puppy Playschool in Arroyo Grande. She wakes up each morning and tells her husband, two dogs and five cats “this is the best job I could have.”

Dani - Veterinary Assistant

Dani is an Animal Science major at Cal Poly and wants to become a veterinarian. She is learning about veterinary medicine while working to help our veterinary technicians keep our hospital clean and our patients comfortable. In between work and school Dani trains cutting horses. Dani is a great addition to our excellent group!

Margo - Reception Staff

Margo’s beautiful smile is a gift to all who enter our hospital. Her compassion and concern for both pets and their caretakers exceeds our expectations. Her two grown children live locally as do her 4-four-legged friends. Margo’s eight years of experience in the veterinary field makes her a valuable member of our team.

Britany - Reception Staff

Britany recently completed her 3rd year at Cal State Fullerton before moving back to the Central Coast.  She plans to transfer to Cal Poly next year and will continue her studies in Psychology and Women¹s Studies (she¹s currently taking classes online).  Britany recently adopted a Siamese kitten that she loves dearly.  In her spare time, she likes to read, watch movies, play with her kitten, and wants to learn to surf.

Alissa - Veterinary Technician

Alissa worked with us previously and then at the Central Coast Pet Emergency Clinic. She has become a very skilled technician. She has a special gift that allows her to make animals feel very comfortible around her.  Alissa volunteers many hours helping with our Animals in Need patients.  She also has rescued her pets, Neslon, Dude, Cheezy & two tortoises

Jodi - Reception Staff

After receiving her Master’s in Developmental Psychology, Jodi moved with her husband to the Central Coast and worked with Dr. Wagner at Oak Park Veterinary Clinic. She followed Dr. Wagner to our hospital where her great personality and attitude keep things upbeat. When not working, Jodi can usually be found swimming, biking or running!

Jenny - Registered Veterinary Technician

While in high school, Jenny began working for Ken and Gaby Levine at South County Veterinary Hospital. Since then she has become a Registered Veterinary Technician, married, had two daughters, and has worked at many local veterinary hospitals. Jenny loves animals and takes exceptional care of them! She’s the best.
